Music in the regions facilitates Holiday Break music Program

Music in the Regions, which has been established to facilitate transformative musical experiences across NSW, will host a series of mini music camps, taking place over two to three days, to introduce young people to the benefits of making music and engage them with regional conservatoriums.

These music camps are an opportunity to elevate and amplify their love of music-making at a scale that is often not achievable in regional centres.

The Autumn locations of the Music In the Regions music camps are the Young Conservatorium of Music and Gunnedah Conservatorium.

At Young Conservatorium of Music, attendees can select from Musical Theatre, Strings and HSC Performance workshops. Click here to register and for more information on these workshops.

Gunnedah Conservatorium will offer a 100 Stories Youth Composition Workshop, where music students ages 12+ will work with artists from The House That Dan Built and Toy Choir to create a one minute video with soundscape that captures a story and moment in time. Click here to register and for more information on 100 Stories.

These camps are part of the Holiday Break program supported by the Office for Regional Youth in partnership with Create NSW.
